One of the things that most Gulf Air is proud of its history. We have come a long way in 50 years - early commuters service to major international airlines - the national airline of Bahrain, Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Oman. The history of the Gulf Air Company
Gulf Air Company is the national airline of Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It operates a fleet of 30 aircraft from 43 cities in 32 countries from Europe to Asia. The company has a reputation for the excellence of its service and the cabin is proud of its history as a pioneer in the Gulf region, industry and airlines as an example for cooperation between governments .
Origins
Gulf Air trace their origin Gulf Aviation Company, which has its headquarters in Bahrain, a young British airman, Freddy Bosworth. Bosworth has raised the interest of the local community to fly on trips and soon introduce a pendulum between Bahrain, Doha, Dhahran and with his single plane.
